The accommodations for the 2019 Regional Congress at Sonoma State University are modern, comfortable suites located in two-story buildings, which are grouped around pleasant courtyards.
The suites have sitting and dining areas plus a kitchen. Each suite accommodates six people in four bedrooms: two double rooms (twin beds) and 2 single rooms. Each bedroom has its own private bath and is equipped with sheets and towels.
Kitchens have a full sized refrigerator, microwave, and stove, but are not equipped with dishes or cookware, so please bring your own as needed. Because the Congress package includes three meals a day, it’s anticipated that kitchens will be used mainly for snacks and beverages.
Each suite has an entrance to the outside, with half of the units on the ground floor and
We will fill all four bedrooms in each suite as much as possible, so please think about and plan for sharing with other members before you register. You can identify individuals with whom you would like to share a room or a suite. You can also request a single room (at the same rate as a double room). Early registrants will have priority on these requests.
The suites are not air conditioned, but all bedrooms have windows. The average temperatures in Sonoma in July are a high of 84 and a low of 49, so the nights will generally be comfortably cool.
Each adult will receive a room key, which is coded to open the door to both the assigned suite and the assigned bedroom. The key is also used to enter the dining hall for meals. There is a $15 charge to replace a lost key.
Each bed is provided with a standard linen service including mattress pad, fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, comforter, a pillow with a pillowcase on the bed, plus 2 towels and 1 washcloth. A bathmat is hung on the shower bar in each bathroom. Please bring your own toiletries
