Are you flying into Mexico City from SFO, OAK, LAX or any of the other California airports on August 1, 2, or 3? Many flights have at least one stop and may arrive between 8 pm and 12 am. THINK ABOUT IT. You arrive at night, get your baggage, go through an HOUR of Customs, look for the Congress Shuttle (if you have already reserved a space) and by the time you take the 2 hour ride to Puebla , it’s a very late when you get to your hotel. If your flight arrives in Mexico City at 11:29 pm, as do many of the Delta and United flights, you could arrive in Puebla at 4 am.
Many people have decided to BOOK A HOTEL in near the Mexico City airport and take the Congress Shuttle in the morning, from Airport International Arrivals (see below for a list of recommended hotels).
If you have already booked the Congress Shuttle, the bus drivers need to know your FLIGHT information and HOTEL in Puebla. If you haven’t already done so, please go back and add that to your registration. Just go to www.subudworldcongress.com and click on “Register,” then click on “Return to your Online Registration.”.If you plan to stay overnight in Mexico City, and get the shuttle the next morning, please indicate when you will be at Airport International Arrivals for pick-up..
- Arriving before August 1st? There are public buses available. Go to www.subudworldcongress.com, and click on TRANSPORTATION (under VISAS & TRAVEL) for more information. The public bus runs till 11:30 pm, and then starts up again at 1:00 am.
- Arriving July 31st? The Congress Shuttles don’t start until Aug 1, but if you want to stay overnight in Mexico City, you could go to Airport International Arrivals on Aug 1 and get on our shuttle. You do, of course have to have registered for the Congress Shuttle in your online registration.
