On February 28, 2014, Lionell Covert died suddenly and unexpectedly at home.
Many of us have known Lionell for a long time. I met him when he was a member of Marin County and later I knew him when he was in LA. He worked at Levity delivering magazines with others of that hearty band of people working hard and wondering if this was actually their true work. Later he moved to San Diego where he met his wife Loretta while they were both acupuncture students.
He has been in Crestone Colorado for a long time and he and Loretta own an acupuncture clinic there.
In Subud Lionell has served as Regional Chairman of Rocky Mountain Region, a regional helper and has been a major support of many of our regional and national congresses. This is probably only a few of the many positions he has held. He has been actively working and helping for a long time.
We miss him.
