Health and Safety Guidelines for Centers and Groups

March 9, 2021: Evolving COVID Safety Requirements

August 13, 2020: Subud California Council COVID Health & Safety Resolution. The resolution requires that:

  • Members attending Subud events sign the appropriate waiver
  • Those entering Subud houses, including members and renters, adhere to health and safety guidelines as required by their county. This includes wearing masks, washing hands, keeping social distance, and limiting group size.
  • Centers that have opened must post the Region’s health and safety guidelines prominently in the hall, as found HERE.
  • Centers establish, communicate, and monitor the implementation of a plan for safely reopening their space. Examples of current Center plans are posted below:
  • Renters using a Subud hall are also responsible for ensuring that anyone entering the space sign the appropriate waiver as above. In addition, a special waiver must be signed by the individual who is renting the space, confirming their obligation to obtain waivers for participants in their events or classes, found here:

Member Waiver Details

Members are required to sign waivers prior to attending latihan or other Subud events at our Centers or in other meeting locations. Most active members have signed waivers sent to them by the Region via DocuSign.

The master list of signed waivers by center/group is available HERE

Members who have not yet signed can do so by downloading and signing this waiver: Subud California COVID Waiver – Adult

If bringing a child or youth under 18 to a Subud event, the parent or guardian must sign this waiver: Subud California COVID Waiver – Under-18

Members who have not yet signed the waiver can sign a paper copy onsite at a Center, or bring a signed copy with them. The Center must then send a scan or photo of the signed waiver via email to covid.subudca@gmail.com so that these members can be added to the master list.

The Regional Committee and Council, and the regional helpers appreciate all the efforts made by each member, center and group to uphold these guidelines. United in this effort, we can keep each other and our community safe!
